MANILA – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said fair weather is expected to prevail across most parts of the country on Sunday, although isolated rainshowers may still develop due to prevailing easterly winds.

According to the agency’s latest 24-hour forecast, **Metro Manila and other areas nationwide will experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, with possible localized rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA said the easterlies—warm air currents coming from the **Pacific Ocean—continue to influence the country’s weather. These winds usually bring warm temperatures and generally dry conditions but may still trigger scattered rainfall.

The state weather bureau added that similar weather patterns are likely to continue over the next three to five days.

Data from PAGASA showed that the highest temperature on Saturday reached 33.6°C at around 3 p.m., while the lowest temperature was 24.6°C at 6 a.m.
