MANILA – The northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” will continue to affect several areas in Luzon on Wednesday, bringing cloudy skies and scattered light rain, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

No low-pressure areas are currently monitored for tropical cyclone formation, the agency added in its 4 a.m. weather bulletin.

Cagayan, Batanes, and Isabela are likely to experience cloudy skies with light rainfall. Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera region, Central Luzon, and the rest of Cagayan Valley may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with chances of isolated showers or thunderstorms caused by localized weather activity.
