MANILA — Most areas of the Philippines will continue to experience unstable weather on Friday, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms forecast nationwide, the state weather bureau reported.
According to PAGASA, the easterlies will primarily affect the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Aurora, and Quezon, bringing periods of rain and thunderstorms.
Localized thunderstorms caused by warm daytime temperatures are also expected to develop over the rest of the country, resulting in brief but potentially intense rainfall.
Authorities warned residents to remain alert for possible flash floods and landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
At sea, moderate winds and moderate wave conditions will prevail over the western coast of Southern Luzon, while other areas will see generally light to moderate winds accompanied by slight to moderate seas.
